La Clinica has grown exponentially since its inception in 1988. That first year we served 1,105 patients, primarily Spanish-speaking migrant and seasonal farm workers. By 2006 we served 13,309 patients, 62 percent of whom were not Hispanic. Although our patient mix has changed and the number we serve has increased, we remain committed to providing quality and affordable health care.

With our current facilities we can serve 14,500 patients. Time is running out. With an annual growth rate of approximately 26 percent, we will soon have to close our doors to new patients. That’s why building a new clinic now is so important to our community’s health-care future.
