Prior to joining La Clinica’s primary care team, Dr. Rhee worked in the Rogue Valley Medical Center Emergency Department and was the medical director there from 1998 to 2005. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was a Regent’s Scholar. Dr, Rhee spent 25 years in academia, first at the University of Michigan, then at UC Davis, and finally at the University of Nebraska, where he was associate professor and section head of emergency medicine.  Dr. Rhee has written over twenty-five papers that have appeared in peer-reviewed medical journals.  He is board certified by the American Boards of emergency medicine and preventive medicine.
