Richard Julyan, M.D., is a family medicine physician at La Clinica’s South Pacific Highway site. Prior to joining the medical staff in 2008, Dr. Julyan served an internship and was a family medicine resident at the North Colorado Family Medicine clinic in Greely, Colorado. He did research in diabetes at the Pacific Northwest Research Institute in Seattle, Washington, before his residency.

Dr. Julyan earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh PA, and his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he majored in biochemistry.

Dr. Julyan is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Julyan chose La Clinica because the practice provides an opportunity to work with underserved populations, patients who are “greatly in need of the services we provide.”

A Seattle native, Dr. Julyan resides in Ashland. He enjoys bicycling, fishing, and reading.
