Ian Kittelson is a dentist at La Clinica’s East Medford Dental Clinic.
He is a graduate of Oregon Health & Sciences University’s dental school and has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Washington University. Dr. Kittelson has been with La Clinica since 2010.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
A native of Vancouver, Wash., Dr. Kittelson grew up in Longview, Wash., and lives in Medford. He enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, camping and fishing, and also likes photography.
He works with La Clinica’s Happy Smiles dental program for schoolchildren and is on the OHSU adjunct faculty, overseeing fourth-year dental students working in clinics to gain experience.
An interest in public health brought him to La Clinica.
“I have been interested in public health since my fourth year of dental school when I did a rotation at the Umpqua Community Health Center in Roseburg,” he says. “I then did a rotation at the Russell Street Dental Clinic in Portland. I enjoy public health and all that it offers, and I work with a great group of people.”
