Kim Heeter is a pediatric dentist at La Clinica’s East Medford Dental Clinic.
Dr. Heeter is available to see patients 10 and younger and has extra training in children’s development and behavior.
She holds a dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Baylor, Texas, as well as a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She also holds a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston School of Dentistry.
She is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Heeter worked in several private practices before taking a position at a community clinic in Seattle, Wash., and serving on the dental school faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
A native of Dallas, Texas, she now lives in Ashland with her husband and son. She enjoys hiking, running, skiing, snowshoeing, and traveling with family members. She is also a volunteer at her son’s school.
Her desire to help people brought her to La Clinica.
“I enjoy providing dental care to underserved populations, and I hope that my specialty training will be of particular benefit to the children of the Rogue Valley,” she said.
