Lori Braughton is a family nurse practitioner at La Clinica’s West Medford Health Center. A longtime registered nurse, she returned to school at Western University of Health Sciences in Panoma, Calif., earning her master’s degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner license in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls and an associate degree in science from OIT as well. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Before coming to La Clinica she worked as a home health nurse; as a nurse at Community Health Center in White City and at Providence Medford Medical Center; and as a health service administrator in corrections.
She lives in the west Medford area with her daughter and two cats. She also has two sons – one in southern Oregon, and one in Las Vegas.
Lori enjoys weightlifting, Qi Gong (a form of movement similar to yoga), and reading a good book. She is looking forward to taking up crocheting again.
“I came to La Clinica because of a shared a passion to provide quality and compassionate healthcare for high-risk populations and the ability to do this in a friendly, family setting,” she said.
