Caelin Johnson-Lupes is a behavioral health clinician who serves patients at La Clinica’s Wellness Center. She speaks Spanish as well as English.
Behavioral health clinicians work as part of patient care teams to provide care and support for patients, including brief counseling and help with resources.
Caelin is a native of the Rogue Valley who returned to the area after school.
She holds a master’s degree in social work from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Southern Oregon University in Ashland. She is certified as a licensed clinical social worker and is a member of the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
Her first experience at La Clinica was work at a school-based health center while she was in college.
“I am deeply inspired by the values and mission of La Clinica, which resonate with my own personal values of respect for all, unconditional love, curiosity, and service,” she said. “I am confident that my work here at La Clinica will allow me to serve those who face the greatest barriers to compassionate, quality behavioral health care.”
She lives in Medford with her husband and sons and enjoys kayaking the Rogue River, exploring Oregon beaches, listening to books on tape, and playing tickle-monster with her rambunctious kids.
