Colleen Tillema is a family nurse practitioner at Central Point Health Center.
She came to the Rogue Valley from Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she’d served as an emergency department nurse before returning to school to become a nurse practitioner.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified through the board of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Colleen started her nursing career as an emergency department nurse, then became interested in preventative health care and joined the staff of a community health center. She also worked as a sexual assault nurse examiner.
A native of St. Clair, Michigan, she now lives in Medford with her husband. She enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
La Clinica’s staff attracted her to the organization.
“I was inspired to work for La Clinica because I could tell everyone was passionate about serving the patients in their community,” she said.
