Donna Niemela is a certified nurse midwife who provides care for patients at La Clinica’s Women’s Health Center. She joined the team in November 2023.
Donna previously was a nurse midwife in the Providence health system. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University, specializing in midwifery. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon.
She came to La Clinica from Portland to be part of a community of healthcare providers where excellence in health care is a priority. Donna aims to listen to individual needs and provide compassionate and exceptional care for all.
Originally from Seattle, Donna enjoys quilting and motorcycle riding.
