Liz Fairweather is a family nurse practitioner who sees patients at the Wellness Center. She first came to La Clinica to participate in the Advanced Practitioner Residency Program, then became a permanent member of the team after completing that advanced training.
Liz earned her doctor of nursing practice and bachelor’s degree in nursing at Oregon Health & Science University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from University of California, Berkeley. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Originally from Chicago, Liz has lived in Southern Oregon since 2013. She lives in Talent with her partner and their Australian shepherd named Comet. She loves all sorts of games: board games, yard games, and pickleball. She also enjoys working out, hiking, cross country skiing, and acrobatics.
Liz said that prior to joining the residency program, she was impressed by the breadth of medical resources La Clinica provides. She knew she wanted to join and grow alongside an inspiring group of providers and staff to serve patients.
She is committed to providing compassionate care to all patients, especially those with stigmatized medical concerns. “I like to partner with my patients, providing recommendations, education, and tools so they can lead their healthiest, joy-filled lives,” she says.
