Jessica Nawoichik is a pediatric nurse practitioner who sees children, including teens, at West Medford Health Center. She also cares for patients at school-based health centers at Phoenix Elementary and Crater High schools,
She was raised in the Rogue Valley and left for school and positions elsewhere and returned in 2017 to join La Clinica’s staff.
Jessica holds a master’s degree in pediatric nursing from Northeastern University in Boston and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
She practiced at several community health centers before coming to La Clinica. She served at a school center operated by HealthPoint community health center in Seattle and at two Boston-area community health centers, one operated by Boston Children’s Hospital and the other part of Dorchester House Multi-service Center community health center.
A native of California, she moved as a child to Ashland and now lives in Phoenix with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling and cooking with her family.
Jessica became familiar with La Clinica’s work when she was growing up.
“It’s been exciting to watch it grow,” she said. “I love community health and am proud to belong to a place that puts patients first.”
