A former oncology nurse in Nevada, she completed nurse practitioner training and holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Nevada at Reno. She also holds a master’s degree in international public affairs from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a bachelor’s degree in international service from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Laura served in the Peace Corps and worked with HIV/AIDS patients in Botswana, Africa for two years.
She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, she enjoys running, climbing mountains, traveling, and listening to and sharing stories.
“I was drawn to La Clinica’s philosophy and desire to equip patients to live their healthiest lives possible,” she said. “I desire to create a clinical environment where all patients feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for,” she added.
