Lauri Hoagland is a family nurse practitioner at La Clinica’s Mobile Health Center.
She joined the organization in 2012, coming from California, where she had been a nurse practitioner at Kaiser Napa Clinic in Napa for 27 years. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Lauri earned her master’s degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and holds a nursing degree from Humboldt State University. She is a member of National Nurses United and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners.
The work and the region drew her here.
“I always wanted to work in a community clinic and wanted to relocate in southern Oregon because of the beauty of this area,” she said.
She lives in Ashland with her husband and two Vizsla dogs. She has two grown sons who live in California and is a proud grandparent. She has retired from seeing patients at Phoenix Health Center.
She enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and whitewater rafting. She chairs the Jackson County Democratic Party’s Health Care Caucus and serves on the state board of Health Care for All Oregon.
