
Leah Schindler is a family nurse practitioner who has worked at La Clinica since 2004 excluding some time that she spent in Montana.
She hold a masters degree in nursing with a focus on rural health care from Idaho State University.
She works at the Phoenix Health Center and the mobile health unit and sometimes sees patients at the West Medford Health Center. The majority of her experience has been with the Indian Health Service and Native American Tribal health care. She is board certified in family practice medicine.
Leah has advanced training and expertise in treatment of liver disease and mental health care. She is originally from New York City and loves living in the Rogue Valley.
She coaches cross country skiing for the Special Olympics of Southern Oregon, and her other hobbies include exercise, hiking and cooking.
