
Mason Healy-Patterson is an integrated behavioral health clinician associate at La Clinica Student Health and Wellness Center at Southern Oregon University. He was a triage counselor at the student health center prior to joining the La Clinica team in September 2024 when La Clinica began providing care on campus.
“I wanted to continue to serve the students of Southern Oregon University in offering mental health and behavioral health support, Mason said.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and his master’s degree in mental health counseling at SOU. His approach to serving patients is rooted in an appreciation for people’s ability to make their own choices and participate actively in their care. He strives to help students identify what is meaningful and important to them, then work to bring their lives into alignment with these values.
Originally from Bolinas, California, he lives in Ashland. He enjoys baking, writing, and doing logic puzzles.
