Rosa Ruggiero is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She sees patients at La Clinica’s Wellness Center.
She came to La Clinica in April 2019 after working at the Veterans Affairs Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City. She previously worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and program co-director in Cleveland, Ohio. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and completed a community psychiatry nurse practitioner residency and a public and community psychiatry fellowship at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
An Ashland native, Rosa lives in the Rogue Valley with her family and enjoys hiking, camping, water sports, spinning, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She serves on the Jackson County Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee.
She was drawn to La Clinica because of its commitment to public health, community wellness and innovative, patient-centered care. She strives to work collaboratively with her patients and their treatment team to support their goals and progress toward recovery.
