
Wendy Harmeston is a certified nurse midwife who sees patients at La Clinica Women’s Health Center. She joined the team in June 2024.
A local to the Rogue Valley, Wendy earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse and childbirth educator for 15 years. Seeking to expand and deepen her role in women’s health care, Wendy went back to school to earn a master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in midwifery from Hayden, Kentucky-based Frontier Nursing University.
Her diverse professional journey has included living and working in Oregon, Alaska, and Australia. Wendy is thrilled to be home in the Rogue Valley providing exceptional health care.
Wendy offers comprehensive care, including well exams, preventive health counseling, preconception and prenatal care, postpartum support, and labor and delivery. She believes in the power of education and strives to create a supportive environment for her patients. Deeply aligned with La Clinica’s mission, she works to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Beyond her professional life, Wendy cherishes time with her family, including her two children and her dog Griffin. A passionate fan of baseball, she travels to see live games when she can. She loves the outdoors and animals, and she finds relaxation in biking, reading, and exploring nature.
