Rogue Credit Union raised and distributed more than $1 million to help people who lost homes and businesses in the Almeda and South Obenchain fires that tore across Jackson County Sept. 1. La Clinica received $100,000 to support its Mobile Health Center, which travels the community to provide care where it is needed.
KDRV Newswatch 12 posted a story Oct. 16 listing the organizations getting funds and quoted La Clinica CEO Brenda Johnson.
Brenda was also quoted in this Oct. 27 story by Mail Tribune reporter Vickie Aldous outlining how Rogue Credit Union is distributing the funds.
