La Clinica has community pharmacies inside two of its health centers to help provide affordable prescriptions and personalized care to all community members.
La Clinica can tap into a federal prescription discount program to buy medication at federally negotiated low prices. It then passes the savings on to La Clinica patients. La Clinica patients who don’t have insurance that covers prescription drugs or who face high co-pays can get large discounts.
We take most major insurers, including the Oregon Health Plan. Our pharmacy team will see if we can bill insurance or if you can get discounts as a La Clinica patient. The team will work with customers to seek help through drug companies or to get prior authorization from insurance. We want to make sure everyone can afford the medication they need.
Using La Clinica Community Pharmacy
Getting a prescription filled
Patients must provide photo identification, an insurance card, and a list of all drug allergies or intolerances. La Clinica Community Pharmacy patients must have all prescriptions filled at our pharmacy. This is for patient safety so the pharmacy team can track all prescriptions and possible drug interactions.
Transferring prescriptions
Our pharmacy team is happy to help you transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy. Visit La Clinica Community Pharmacy with your photo identification, insurance card, and list of medications. Or call with this information. We take care of the rest.
Prescriptions refills
Call us with the prescription number to get a refill. If there are no refills left, we will request a refill from your healthcare provider.
