La Clinica provides family planning services. Our providers and care managers work with patients to ensure they understand their options, and can help with enrollment in assistance programs should it be appropriate. Our services include:
- Free pregnancy testing
- Annual women’s exams
- Birth control education and counseling
- Barrier and hormonal birth control supplies (diaphragms, birth control pills, etc.)
- Birth control placement (IUDs, etc.)
- Vasectomies (available at Central Point Health Center)
It is important to remember that while birth control can prevent most pregnancies, most birth control cannot prevent the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. La Clinica providers and care managers are available to help you understand your risks and responsibilities. Screening for sexually transmitted infections is offered at no cost to most patients.
La Clinica participates in Oregon’s Reproductive Health Program and the OregonContraceptiveCare program (also known as CCARE), which offers low-cost contraceptives to all women and free contraceptives and annual exams to women who meet financial guidelines.
