Dacarie Robertson is a mental health therapist at La Clinica’s school-based health center at Jackson Elementary School in Medford. She came to La Clinica in December 2020.
Dacarie has worked in K-12 and higher education settings in Oregon and Colorado and has provided mental health services to adults. She also worked as a social worker at Kibera Girls Soccer Academy in Kibera, Kenya, supporting gender empowerment and wellness.
She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Oregon University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver, where she focused on international social work and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to health. She also holds a graduate certificate in animal-assisted social work.
“I was drawn to La Clinica’s dedication and commitment to health care for everyone in the Southern Oregon community,” Dacarie said. “I am happy to be part of La Clinica’s school-based health center team supporting children and families.”
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing soccer, traveling, cooking, and trying lots of outdoor activities.
