Family medicine physician Elizabeth Banowetz joined the staff of La Clinica in 2014. She usually sees patients at the Central Point Health Center. She is on a leave of absence living and working in New Zealand until the spring of 2023.
She completed medical school at the University of California at Davis and a family medicine residency at Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board certified in family medicine.
Dr Banowetz grew up in Redding, California. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
“I believe everyone should have access to quality health care, and I am proud to work at La Clinica because it is dedicated to providing care to everyone who needs it,” she said.
