Jessica Diaz is a physician at La Clinica’s Wellness Center. Previously she provided comprehensive medical and obstetrical care, both inpatient and outpatient, at the Smith River Community Health Center in Smith River, California, and outpatient family medicine at Providence Medford Medical Center’s Jacksonville clinic.
Dr. Diaz earned her medical degree from the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and her undergraduate degree in molecular/cellular biology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. She completed her family practice residency, with an emphasis in women’s health, at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of University of California, Davis. She is board certified in family medicine.
A Fortuna, California, native, Dr. Diaz lives with her husband Travis McNeal, MD, and their two children in Jacksonville. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and horseback riding.
Dr. Diaz was drawn to La Clinica because of the organization’s mission. “I wanted to work with an organization dedicated to providing quality health care to underserved communities,” she said.
